Krang & Juno Check Out the World

Yes, the bad human has been very busy of late and has not been posting. Nothing new there.  While you wait for her to get her act together, and while the Penta Pack plan their reprisals, here’s a cute pick of Krang (the hairless Sphynx, left) and Juno (the angora fluffernutter, right) checking out their surroundings courtesy of the human’s niece.

Princess Juno Reclines in Luxury

Since Krang has gotten some coverage on the blog lately, it’s only fair that Princess Juno gets some space as well. (Krang is a hairless Sphynx and Juno is an angora. Between them both, they probably have a normal cat’s amount of fur.) Junipurr seems to love her newly adopted brother and they have a great time playing together. They are out-of-state cousins to the Penta Pack. And like her cousins, she loves to cuddle in the soft human bedding.

Krang Drives to the Vet

It was time for Krang, the Penta Pack’s new cousin, to go to the vet for a checkup. Fortunately, the young Sphynx is multi-talented and offered to drive.

Mutant Teenage Ninja Turtle

Juno has a new “brother” named Krang, which means that the Penta Pack members have a new cousin. Krang is a young Sphynx and is named after the enemy of the Mutant Teenage Ninja Turtles, which is appropriate since he’s pink, wrinkly, and a youngster with lots of energy.  Juno is super fluffy and Krang is hairless so between them both they probably have an average cat’s amount of fur. Fortunately, Princess Junipurr is taking good care of her younger charge and showing him the ropes of catdom (which is to say that she’s teaching him how to manipulate his human “pets” aka captors).

City Kitties’ Cousin Pops in

<<While we wait for the bad human to get her act together out in the doghouse, here’s Juno (aka Junipurr), our cousin.  She’s chilling out and waiting for her human to give her some love.  Come to think of it, so are we. Awww.>>

Give me Attention or Suffer the Consequences!

This is the once petite and sweet Juniper, who owns the human’s niece.  Said niece had been very busy with work and life and had left Princess Fluffernutter home alone a lot lately.  When that 2-legged did return home — with mail in tow — and found a magazine she wanted to read, she tossed it on the couch intending to curl up and read it.  However, the Princess wasn’t going to be ignored any longer. She hopped up and defiantly laid herself across the magazine so it was now inaccessible to the human — at least without expending some effort.

What’s the moral to this story? Ignore a cat at your peril!

Attack of the Fluffernutter!

<<I tolerated that new human last night, but this is too much. >>
<<My own human has abandoned me for work and left this stranger in my house.>><<Ah, she’s playing with me. >><<Well, if she dangles the strap from her phone I’m certainly going to chase it.>><<Maybe she’s not so bad, but I’m still mad at my human for bringing her here without asking me.>><<I hate being left alone and I hate not being consulted. What does she think I am — a dog?>>
<<Don’t answer!>>

Auntie Human Meets the Fluffernutter

<<Who is this? I haven’t met that human before.>><<Is she seriously putting her stuff on MY floor?>>
<<Who exactly invited this human anyway?>>

<<Should have known. My own human did. I suppose that means I can’t jump on her while she does yoga tonight.>>

juno2The human has been overly busy with work, which is why there haven’t been posts in 10 days. It’s definitely not that the furry people aren’t having fun and being exceptionally silly. While you wait for the 2-legged to get her act together, here are 2 recent photos of little Juno (aka Juni-purr). She’s a cousin of sorts to the penta pack.juno1Remember when she was just a tiny kitten taking her first steps out of her carrier into her new home after being adopted from a rescue organization? She’s all grown up now and quite adorable. Of course, anyone who has adopted a “rescue” animal knows that the rescuing goes both ways. What would we do without these furry people in our lives?
